Preparation Area

A-1 Auto Body has a 16-stall preparation area, which is equipped with individual air makeup filtration systems and a vacuum system to keep all dust and overspray to a minimal and keeping a clean and environmentally friendly environment. This is where the vehicles are primed, sanded and prepared for the painting process.

Paint Store and Mixing Station

A-1 Auto Body has the only in-house paint store in North America, where all colour matching is done on site. A-1 Auto Body uses PPG Envirobase High Performance Paints. These paints use water-based technology and help preserve the future of the environment.

Spray Booths

A-1 Auto Body has 6 Down Draft Spray Booths, in which the paint is applied and baked dry. The spray area is particle-free via a down draft ventilation system. The flow pulls the overspray into a pit located below the vehicle, significantly reducing contaminants on the freshly painted surface. The result is a clean, factory-like finish.

Detail Area

In this area the interior and exterior cosmetic details of your vehicle are completed. Undercoating and pin striping are also done here. After a final inspection is performed, your car is returned to you, thoroughly washed and vacuumed.
